Could you hold a fringe event? To create a buzz around the town in the build-up to the festival we want to hold a series of fringe events which encourage people to visit local food and drink businesses for demonstrations, lessons and/or tasting sessions. So why not run a cookery course, hold a wine-tasting or cocktail-making session? It can be an event that you are already holding or something new – all ideas welcome! Please let us know by 30th April if you're interested and we'll discuss what we can do to support and promote it. Run a special offer We want to encourage all festival-goers to visit the rest of the town centre during their time in Huddersfield. To draw people into your business how about running a special offer? It could be a set menu especially for the festival or a 10% discount on all your products – we will promote these on the website and at the festival itself so please let us know what you are planning and we’ll support it. |
