The HTCPL manages the marketing, development and promotion of the town in partnership with town centre businesses, Kirklees Metropolitan Council, West Yorkshire Police, other agencies and voluntary organisations.

Aims and Objectives
To deliver the HTCPL mission statement
we need to:

• Recognise the value of the HTCPL as a key partnership body in working towards common goals and objectives.

• Manage a budget which provides a means to carry out a range of activities which would not be possible through respective partners acting independently.




• Recognise the need to cut across service budgets by maintaining a level of multi-skill work which is thematic and pursue the benefits of joined up thinking.

• Recognise that we all have a stake in the well being of the town centre: a decline in the town centre will affect businesses, the Council and the people who work in and visit Huddersfield.
