August	Huddersfield in Bloom The HTCPL and Huddersfield Civic Society sponsor the annual awards in which more than 60 businesses regularly participate. Kirklees Councils Cultural and Leisure Service supplies an average of 360 hanging baskets, window boxes and tubs for the event. For further information about Huddersfield in Bloom go to ourin bloom site Tidy Trader The HTCPL promotes Tidy Trader in association with KMC and Huddersfield Civic Society. An award ceremony is held in September in conjunction with Huddersfield in Bloom. Plant Sales Annual events held by the HTCPL in collaboration with The National Trust. Over 20 nurseries and growers have stalls along New Street in the town centre during the event.	Food and Drink Festival For details of this years festival as well as previous events take a look at ourfestival site >>> This is an expanding annual four day festival, currently held in St George's Square. The event features regional food growers and producers, an open air food court, beer, cider and wine tasting's, a children's party, entertainment and numerous fringe events.
